As a professional actress Rene has performed on many of New England’s best and most reputable New England Equity stages. She has played lead roles with companies such as Boston Theatre Works, Gloucester Stage Company, Publick Theatre, Nora Theatre, Wheelock Family Theatre, The Portsmouth Music Hall and the New London Barn in New Hampshire.

She has appeared in numerous television and film projects including Unsolved Mysteries, and recently FXtv’s episodic Oilstorm. She is a highly sought after voice over artist and spokesperson on radio and television.

She is currently a Counselor with the Boston branch of Screen Actors’ Guild (SAG) and holds the position of Director on the Board of American Film Television Radio Artist (AFTRA).
